Areas of Use :
Stearic acid is for several large long-chain fatty acids formed from fats and oils. Animal fats are presented in the form of glycerides, such as oil and some vegetable oils. These fats produce stearic acid after hydrolysis.
Stearic acid is a fatty acid that is widely found in nature and has the general chemical properties of carboxylic acids. Almost all kinds of fats and oils contain a certain amount of stearic acid, with a relatively high content of animal fat. For example, when the content of vegetable oil is 0.8% in tea oil, palm oil is 6%, the content in butter can be up to 24%. However, the content in cocoa can be up to 34%.
